Some are long established family run businesses often operated by the same family for generations. We find that working with craft businesses of this nature gives us access to unrivalled quality uncompromised by the short-cuts and pressures of big industries. The unique quality of authentic handmade crafts is the result of generations of dedication to traditional skills in textile manufacture, ceramic and pottery throwing, and glass making among others.
