SailCork has been providing safe, enjoyable courses afloat and ashore in Cobh since 1974. Eddie English and his professional crew teach dinghy sailing, kayaking, powerboating, yacht sailing, navigation and VHF radio.
Special adventure courses are run for juniors in the fantastic surroundings of East Ferry including Marlogue wood. Junior courses, including specail “summer camps” are run during the school holidays including Easter and Haloween.
Special “taster” courses lasting 3 hours are available in all our activities.
Our 36 foot cruiser plys the waters of Cork Harbour from March to December andventures further afield to West Cork, Kerry and even the Isles of Scilly off the SW coast of Cornwall. Weekend courses and weeklong courses living aboard as well as day courses are available.
Special Sunshine Cruises are organised by SailCork in the Caribbeand and Croatia.
SailCork are the experts at Powerboating having introduced the National Powerboat Scheme to Ireland – courses are available at w-ends all year round and evenings during the summer.
Dinghy Sailing for adults is available at w-ends and also evenings during the summer. SailCork alos trains sailing instructors and is the leading school in Ireland in this area.
