Cobh Lions Club
Cobh Lions Club is one of over 100 Lions clubs within District 133. This district covers the island of Ireland with approximately 2,095 members.
We are members of Lions Clubs International which is a voluntary organisation of 46,000 clubs and 1.4m members in almost every country of the world. Our history is a long one and a proud one. For over 100 years, Lions all over the world have served with kindness, putting the needs of our neighbours, our communities and our world first.
Cobh Lions Club was established in 1996. Our membership currently stands at 13 people ranging in ages and from all walks of life.
We are active in supporting our community on the Great Island, holding a number of fundraising events throughout the year which allows us to aid others in our community and in particular those who fall on most difficult times.
A lot of the help we give in our communities is of a confidential nature and therefore goes under the radar however none of this is possible without the support and generosity of our community and local businesses and for that we as a committee will always be extremely grateful.
Lions are men and women who are dedicated individuals joining together to give their valuable time to serve those in need, whether in their own community or around the world.
Lions clubs pride themselves on the fact that 100% of funds donated or raised are used to benefit those in need, to that end members cover their own administration costs.

If you believe you have something to offer in a voluntary role we at Cobh Lions Club would love to welcome you on board. We meet once a month for approximately 1 hour to plan and organise events throughout the year.
